My nonna, Annunziata herself, will always be one of the most influential people in my life. She is the most selfless and charismatic person that I know, and she carries herself with inspiring grace. My Aquarius angel moved to the United States from Italy on her own when she was just 18. Her determination and passion shine throughout her whole life, and I am in awe of all she was able to accomplish and teach me. She will often tell me stories about how she worked on the farm, sewed, and cooked in Italy. She brought back all of the beautiful gifts that she had to offer to the US and teaches them to me. My nonna’s strength, selflessness, and grace are qualities that I have strived to encapsulate within all of my pieces.
